Dear Anyone in Colorguard:
Don’t ever think that anything in the colorguard world is impossible. I came form Trumbull High School, and in my first year of the world guard I was an alternate. I maybe was in 2/3 of the show, if that. The next year, however for “In Darkness,” I was on flag the entire time. When I went to college, I went out for Onyx and O2, and got placed into O2 for their first season in IW. We finished in 21st, and didn’t make finals. And in my fourth year of a winter guard, I got into Onyx, and went though the season and became a IW Gold Medalist. Nothing is impossible, and everything is achievable as long as you work for it. I never though I would ever be where I am now, and I have everything in my colorguard past to thank for it: Trumbull and their staff and all the girls I marched with, and the O Foundation for helping me even more.
Essentially, nothing is impossible. Work for what you want, and it will pay off eventually.
